Communication styles/types

[This is a short video about 3 styles of communication]

This ePortfolio is an example of a type of communication there are many. Unal (2012) shows how good techniques and self awareness can improve self esteem and assertiveness. This study how clients benefit from good communication styles including: enabling clients to express their rights without fear of harm. My occupational therapy clients will also reap in the reward from my study and practice of this subject. I will try to remain self aware whilst treating my clients. I will aim communicate assertively with clients and colleagues. I will also respect people’s right, values and beliefs.
